How much does jet ski repair cost?
Every job starts with a diagnosis, not a guess. A worn wear ring is a small job, a rebuilt engine is a big one, and the price reflects what we actually find. We quote the work before we touch anything, and if something new turns up inside the engine, you get a call before we proceed. Expect a straight number based on the real problem.
Do you give free estimates before repairs?
Yes. Bring the ski in or describe the symptoms over the phone and we will diagnose the issue, then give you a firm quote before any work begins. If teardown reveals something the first look could not show, we stop, call you, and explain the options. No surprise charges on the final invoice.
Where is JetPro Powersport located?
1501 N Albany Ave in Atlantic City, NJ, minutes from the marinas and back bays. PWC owners tow in from Ventnor, Margate, Longport, Egg Harbor Township, Ocean City and the rest of Atlantic County. Drop-offs are easy from the Black Horse Pike or the AC Expressway, and there is room to maneuver a trailer.
What are the shop's hours?
Weekdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturdays until early afternoon, closed Sundays. Summer Saturdays go fast because everyone is riding, so call ahead and get on the schedule rather than showing up mid-morning hoping for a bay.
How often should a jet ski be serviced?
Once a season at minimum for the basics: oil and filter, spark plugs, and a general inspection. Saltwater riding adds work. Flush after every outing, check the sacrificial zinc anodes through the summer, and have the jet pump looked at if you beach the ski or ride shallow water. A spring checkup catches most problems before they strand you offshore.
When should I winterize my PWC in South Jersey?
Before the first hard freeze, usually late October or early November around Atlantic City. The process is a full fresh-water flush, fogging oil in the cylinders, stabilizer run through the fuel system, and antifreeze protection for the block. A ski that sits in a garage all winter with salt water in the pump and raw fuel in the lines will cost you a spring's worth of riding.
What are the signs my jet pump or impeller needs repair?
Sluggish acceleration, vibration under throttle, a top speed that has dropped off, or a rattling sound from the pump with debris in it. Back-bay riding around Atlantic City is hard on impellers because sand and shallow water chew the leading edges. We pull the pump, check impeller and wear-ring clearances with actual measurements, and replace only what the numbers say needs replacing.
Do you service older two-stroke jet skis?
Yes. Two-stroke skis are a big part of what comes through the shop, from carburetor cleaning and fuel system service to top-end work. Regular shop hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays and Saturday mornings, but we know a blown engine mid-July cannot wait a week. Call the shop, describe what the ski is doing, and if it is urgent we will do everything reasonable to squeeze you in. Mid-season breakdowns get priority scheduling whenever the bays allow it.

How long does a typical repair take?
It depends on the diagnosis. A battery replacement or an oil and fluid service is usually same-day. Jet pump and impeller work often takes a couple of days. Engine repair or a full engine swap can stretch to a few weeks depending on parts availability, and we will tell you that honestly before you commit. You get status updates the whole time your ski is in the shop.
